Our Youth Program paves the way for future advanced dance training. Lower level classes move slowly and focus on posture and placement while upper level classes begin to instruct the student on how to leap and turn. Energetic, technical combinations are a part of the classes. Pre-teen/teens will be encouraged throughout the program and will be instilled with high self-esteem and become confident, disciplined, technical performers. All students learn a routine to perform in our year-end performance.

​At Tariakuri, we firmly believe in teaching the fundamentals of technique in all styles of dance and acting as this leads to developing a well-rounded performer. We offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. We understand that families are busier than ever these days, so we schedule many of our classes back-to-back, for your convenience. And, we limit the size of our classes to allow for individual, personalized instruction.

​Did you know? Studying the arts can improve your child’s performance in school, their social skills and self-confidence; contributing to a well-rounded and adjusted individual. Through our programs, we hope to be of service to parents in helping them raise their children to become wholesome, confident individuals with high self-esteem.
